King David

Millennial King David?

Q. I was just wondering where in the Bible it talks about King David ruling during the Millennium. They mentioned it in Kingdom Come and it was the first I’d ever heard of it. Also why would the Third Temple be located in Shiloh? Isn’t Jerusalem God’s capitol on Earth? Thanks in advance and God Bless.

A. Ezekiel 34:23-24 and Ezekiel 37:24 both mention David as Israel’s Millennial King. If you plot the redistribution of the land in Ezekiel 48, you’ll discover that the land allocated to the Millennial Temple is just north of Jerusalem where the Tabernacle once stood, in ancient Shiloh. Zechariah 14:4 says that a great earthquake will destroy the area around the Mt. of Olives on the day of the Lord’s return. This will include the current Temple Mount. You’ll also see the the Holy City during the Millennium won’t be called Jerusalem but Jehovah Shammah which means “The Lord is here” (Ezek. 48:35)
